The Schleizer Dreieck – a track that breathes history! At 101 years old, it’s Germany’s oldest street racing circuit, bursting with tradition. This weekend, it was Robert Schmidt in the S4 and Rocco Tenzler in the Over-40 who hit the track for the SHR YAMAHA Supermoto Team. Racing at this legendary venue is always a highlight, and it’s an honor to be here in front of the passionate fans and motorsport enthusiasts.
Robert Schmidt: “It was a mixed race weekend for me, to say the least. Satisfaction looks different. I managed to secure a solid 5th place in the time trials for the semifinals—the start was great. But then, inattentive backmarkers made things tough, and I only managed to get 9th place on the grid for the final. The race itself didn’t go much better. I ended up 8th overall in the standings. Top ten, but it’s not quite enough for me.”
Rocco Tenzler: “Saturday morning started with perfect conditions, but the time trials were tougher with some brake issues. Still, I secured the third starting position. In the first race, I finished 4th. The second race was a thrill until the end but went smoothly, and I clinched third place. Overall, I’m happy—I had some epic battles and can’t wait for the season finale!”
The next and final race is set for September 21st and 22nd at Vogelsbergring in Wittgenborn. The SHR YAMAHA Supermoto Team is ready for the grand finale!
