Quad Lock Joins Honda Racing!

Quad Lock, a leading name in adventure and innovation, joins the championship-winning Factory Honda Racing team as they strive to secure the 2024 Australian Supercross Championships across all classes. Current SX1 championship points leader Joey Savatgy and runner-up Dean Wilson will debut Quad Lock as their new title sponsor at Round 4 of the Australian Supercross Championship, set to take place at the iconic Adelaide 500 alongside the Supercars series.

This year marks the debut of the Australian Supercross Championship at the Adelaide 500, an event expected to draw over 200,000 attendees. Honda Racing Australia’s Director, Yarrive Konsky, expressed his excitement in welcoming Quad Lock, a brand whose commitment to innovation and adventure resonates with Honda Racing’s ethos.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Quad Lock to the Honda Racing family. Both brands share a passion for adventure, high performance, and pushing the limits of innovation. It’s also a great honour to be supported by a leading Australian company,” said Konsky.

Joey Savatgy, who leads the championship, was excited to see the full extent of Quad Lock’s product lineup. “I cycle every week, and I was already a fan of Quad Lock. I had no idea how versatile their range is—they have mounts for cars, bikes, I could even use it on the boat. It’s very cool to represent a brand I already know and use,” he said.

Dean Wilson, currently second in the points standings, shared his enthusiasm, joking that he can now expand his collection of Quad Lock products. “I’ve used Quad Lock for cycling, and now, thanks to this partnership, I can get mounts for all my vehicles. My wife, Sarah, can even attach it to the stroller!” Wilson said with a cheeky smile.

Honda Racing Australia dominated the 2023 Supercross Championships, winning all three classes, and they are determined to replicate that success in 2024. Dom Storey, Quad Lock’s Sports Marketing Lead Director, looks forward to supporting the team in their quest for a perfect season.

“For the past 20 years, Honda Racing has been hugely successful in Australia, and Honda’s reputation as an iconic brand fits perfectly with our products. We’ll have a Quad Lock Activation at the Adelaide 500, part of our display will include Honda motorcycles equipped with our mounts. We’re excited to cheer on the Quad Lock Honda Racing Team and look forward to an exciting weekend for fans, riders, and drivers,” said Storey.

Quad Lock has secured title rights for Joey Savatgy and Dean Wilson’s entries and secondary branding across all nine team bikes. Honda Racing Australia’s Team Director, Yarrive Konsky, emphasised the synergy of the partnership at the Adelaide 500.

“This is the perfect stage for Quad Lock and Honda to come together. With over 200,000 people expected, including car and motorcycle enthusiasts and a diverse cycling crowd, we invite everyone to stop by our trucks to check out Quad Lock’s products and grab a signed poster from one of our riders. Quad Lock’s support is invaluable as we continue to chase three more championships,” concluded Konsky.
